The best VR games of 2022 were more ambitious than ever before, even if they weren’t always the prettiest titles.
If you’ve been following the gaming industry for a while, you know that 2022 was a big year for virtual reality (VR). In fact, this was one of the most exciting periods in VR history—and not just because we got to play more games. As I write this article, there are still some great titles out there to enjoy if you want to experience what an amazing time it’s been for VR so far!
But even though 2022 saw some incredible content come out of developers and publishers alike—and even though many were absolutely gorgeous experiences—there were also a few things worth noting:
- There weren’t any truly great blockbuster hits that everyone wanted their hands on when they first released into stores; instead, there were smaller projects like Tales From The Loop and Radial G that had something special about them but weren’t quite able to reach mass appeal yet.* There weren’t any single-player campaigns; normally these would be provided by AAA studios like Bethesda or Square Enix and have large budgets behind them (both companies have announced plans for future releases), but unlike previous years where these types existed alongside multiplayer modes supported by dedicated servers these days everything seems focused around multiplayer experiences only!
The show will take place at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. The event will be streamed live on Twitch, Facebook and YouTube Gaming.
The show will be live-streamed on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. There will also be a special post-show podcast hosted by TotalBiscuitThere are some very interesting projects in development right now; this includes things like Fallout 4 VR and DOOM Eternal, but what’s important is that gamers want to see games that have something new about them. It’s not enough for a game to be pretty anymore; instead, developers need to create experiences that stand out from the crowd..
